Hi ladies! I am pregnant with our first due the end of November. We live in MN, so for sure will have cold weather right away. I know for the carseat, I can use a fleece car seat cover, but what did you put your LO in when you BW outside in cold weather? Did you get a bunting? If so, where?
Brought home an extra special souvenir from vacation!

Re: Coat for baby while BW?
When they are really little (til about 4-5 months) you can easily just zip up your regular coat over them and the carrier no problem, just leave the top open a bit.
Later in the winter you may need a fleece bunting if you are going to be out for prolonged periods but honestly between your body heat and theirs and the clothes and the carrier you will be pretty snuggly. If you are going to be outside a lot Colombia makes an awesome fleece bunting (Snow Bunny I think)
This past winter we invested in a Deluxe Kindercoat that I found on the FSOT board on thebabywearer and just put that on over both of us with DD in a light fleece jacket and it kept us both nice and toasty. Awesome investment once you decide if you are a long term babywearer. Not something to invest in right off the bat until you figure out your babywearing style and if LO likes being worn etc.
When DS was little, I just wore my maternity winter coat over both of us. This year I got a Suse's Kindercoat to accomdate both baby and pregnant belly.
