Hot flashes, especially when breastfeeding

I'm 3 weeks pp and I've been noticing more hot flashes, especially when I'm about to breastfeed and during breastfeeding. I take my temp when I get these hot flashes and it goes up to about 99.4 F. Is this a normal pp thing or could it perhaps be a fever coming on? Thanks!

    Very normal. Very annoying, but it will get better as time goes on.

    I formula fed and got terrible hot flashes.  Just your body adjusting to the change in hormones.

    The hot flashes and night sweats are horrible for me as well. I always assumed it was just from a shift in hormones.

    I had them for a couple weeks pp.  They go away eventually.
