My LO received a crocheted blanket and I'd like to wash it because it smells kinda funky. Any tips? Google says Dreft in cold water on gentle cycle. I don't want to destroy the blanket though so I figured I'd check with you ladies first.
I would try to find out what kind of yarn it's made from. Acrylic yarn should be ok on delicate and either low heat dry or air dry. If it's wool I would handwash it and stretch it to its normal shape to air dry. I washed one we got for my first son and some of the knots came undone from being washed too hard.
depends on the yarn- acrylic and cotton can be washed and dryed as normal. If there is any wool, you'll want to dry flat- most baby stuff is made out of yarn that can be dryed
