~32Wk Decreased movements

So has anyone noticed a decrease in movements around the 32ish week mark? I want to assume it's because he's getting bigger and running out of room, but I also don't want to assume anything and am worried! I feel like a FTM with this pregnancy because it's a singleton!

I noticed a decrease on Sunday, then yesterday morning we failed our first NST and were sent to get a BPP immediately which he passed with flying colors. I still haven't noticed an active pickup in his movements since then, but he's measuring 32 weeks and 4lbs so is this about the weight/time he starts moving less?

  • I went to the drs today and mentioned to the nurse that last time they had to chase him around with the Doppler to get his heart rate, and this time he stayed perfectly still.  She said he is runnin out of room to move so it's normal...

  • I'm a FTM, but I've been having days/weeks that she seems to move alot less. My OB said as long as I could feel her 10 times in 2 hours, she's okay. If you're in doubt, call your doc and see what they say. It'll at least be some peace of mind :)

  • I'm about the same 32w and 4 lb 8 oz per today's u/s. I feel him moving/kicking most of the day but when we did the u/s he really didn't move at all. I also just ate ice & custard so maybe that's why he's going nuts now!

I would call the dr. just to be sure though.

  • I am feeling a lot less movement these days. From everything I read, this is normal b/c the LO is running out of room in there!

I've noticed over the last few weeks the movements have become different.

I'm still feeling him move and what not, but sometimes I have to really concentrate to feel him, he just seems to be rolling and shuffling, not the huge kicks that he'd been dishing out before.

My guess is it's because they run out of room!

I'm the same - no more Chuck Norris roundhouse kicks, more stretching and pushing and flutters.
