I don't remember my back hurting this much with my first LO. But god. I am so not enjoying this? I thought I might have a UTI but nothing..... Any ideas to get some relief?
You need hot sock!!!!!!! Go get a nice long sock from your SO and fill it with uncooked rice, you want to really shove it in there- then tie a tight knot in the end of it when full and throw it in the microwave for 2 mins! Trust me, it sounds crazy but now my husband and I fight over the beloved hot sock! Amazing pain relief!
I make hot and cold packs so I have a ton around the house... they help me a ton! I always have at least 2 in the freezer and 2 ready to go into the microwave too.
If you find a cute one the kiddos will love it later as well.
I know someone who makes adorable animal shaped ones...lol

I had awful back pain for two weeks straight. Could hardly move some days. Wore those capiscum patches on my back and those helped quite a bit. I like them better than a heating pad, because I can move around while wearing them, which is what my physical therapist sister recommended. Move and stretch as much as you can take. It's a myth that people with back pain should just lie still.
prenatal yoga and massage are the ticket to feeling better. It takes time and dedication, but it is worth it and you will work on stress relief at the same time.

I don't remember mine hurting this bad the first time around, either! I wasn't chasing around a 13 month old, either, though!
I am doing prenatal yoga once a week (wish I had the time to do it more) and going to see a prenatal chiropractor. I also ice at night.
It sucks!
