Laundry question from a FTM

I've been cloth diapering for 3 days now and things are going great (thanks to your ladies' help!). My question is... I know after they are prepped that covers, prefolds, wet bags can be washed together. What about burp cloths? I've gone through about a million prefold type diapers that I'm using as burp cloths/towels and wondering if I can wash them together with the dirty diapers. Or is this gross?

    I don't see why you couldn't, but I prefer to put mine in with the baby clothes. I put cloth wipes in the diaper pail as I use them and burp cloths in the hamper. Maybe because poop goes with poop and spit-up goes with spit-up :-P

    I was everything all together along with items that need washed quickly like yucky clothes and small dish towels, hand towels and bibs.

    I always washed them together. No big deal.

    I usually washed them with my regular laundry, but I have thrown them in with the diaper laundry. No biggie.
