February 2013 Moms

I just made for dinner (and soon you can too)

Homemade baked mac & cheese. The best part of it is that DH is gluten and dairy intolerant so he can't eat this. It's all for me! Yay leftovers!

I used some sharp yellow cheddar, white cheddar, and fontina cheese and I don't have dry mustard so I used a dash of nutmeg instead in the sauce.

It took me about a half hour to make from start to finish.

(I'm sorry if it's not clicky)

  • I made this too during my 5th week. It was one of my first cravings & felt absolutely aaaamazing to satisfy. I used whole wheat pasta to up the nutritional value, but it was still awesome!

  • That sounds good! I havent tried baked mac & cheese but I make regular mac & cheese with milk, flour, butter, onion powder, garlic powder, ricotta cheese & cheddar cheese. I'm addicted lol

DH and I like to make a homemade mac & cheese casserole with mozzarella cheese, bacon bits, and sauteed onion in it and a creamy sauce... OMG, sooo good! Now I want some of that! lol

I have tons leftover. You're welcome to it.

And as per the other poster: I also used whole wheat pasta to up the nutritional and fiber value (but there was a ton of cheese in it)
