Just looking for some opinions on a boy name.
Our middle name for a boy is definitely Sawyer. DH was a sawyer for the US Forest Service for a few years, so it's a nod to a job and a time he loved.
One of our top contender first names is Oliver.
Oliver Sawyer.
Is the double sound too much? We have other boy names, but I wanted opinions before I decide whether to keep this one or throw it out.
Re: errr
Henry Sawyer is #1 right now. I just can't get Oliver out of my head. I'll probably be saving it for a different middle name with the next one.
This is a good suggestion, although I don't think Oliver Sawyer is the WORST thing in the world. But if you can avoid it, you probably should.
I don't have a problem with Oliver Sawyer at all. People hardly ever use both names together.
But Henry Sawyer is also cool. (I think I personally prefer Oliver to Henry, but that could be my own associations.)
I love the name Oliver, but I think it is too much -er.
I really like Henry Sawyer. I think that's a win.
yes, Oliver Sawyer is kind of weird sounding
I'm in the minority with you. I don't get the appeal of the name Oliver. Also agree that Henry Sawyer is great.
