Intro-Hi Everyone!

Hello! I wanted to stop in and say hi and introduce myself. My name is Leah and my son was born June 16th at 31w3ds. He was 3lbs 11oz when he was born. He is still in the NICU and weighs 6lbs 6oz now. He is also off the oxygen but still has a feeding tube.

I am really anxious to have him home but at the same time I'm nervous about bringing him home. I guess that is normal for any first time parent. He is just so small!

I wrote about my experience in my blog.. so if you want to know more about my personal story you can find it here

As I said I really just wanted to introduce myself.. I'm at the hospital a lot but I'll try and check in daily to see what everyone is talking about.. ^_^

  • I read your blog and your story is quite similar to mine.  I had sever pre-e and fluid on my lungs which caused my emergency c-section.  The day they admitted me to the hospital (4 days before birth) I could not keep any food down either.  I spent a month pp on a high dose of labetolol and now my blood pressure seems back to normal, I hope your pressure is able to go back down soon too.  It's good to hear that your son is fighting just like you did, and I hope that he comes home soon.  This board is a lot of help, welcome!
