Anyone else's daycare have the cribs in the wall? Our daycare is pretty small there are only 4 babies in the infant room so space is kind of limited. The cribs are made into the wall and they have a door/rails that slides up to open and then latches. It doesn't bother me or DH but my MIL always makes comments about it being a cage. To me it's the same thing as his crib at home it is designed to keep him contained and safe while he is sleeping. They don't keep him in there when he is awake.
Re: Cribs at Daycare
We looked at a DC that had them and DH couldn't really get past it. He called it the "baby kennel." I didn't think they were a big deal at first, but I can't imagine him being in one now because he's so big. I would feel too confined with something over my head like that. Of course, he's just a baby and probably wouldn't care, but I wasn't a fan of them.
I also wonder what their fire exit plan.
