Monitor..need your help!

While I don't have 2u2, I thought this would be a good place to ask.

 

I have a 2.5 yr old and am expecting another baby in 6 weeks. We STILL use a video baby monitor for our son. He is now in a big boy bed so we watch him now more than ever :)

I am sort of happy with our Summer Infant monitor though its been replaced about 4 times (covered under warranty).

I am starting to explore our options to be able to "watch" two children in 2 different rooms. Could you offer an advice? I'd be willing to get something new, it doesn't have to be compatible with the one monitor/camera we have now.

    My Summer Infant Slim and Secure was able to add additional cameras (up to 4 I think). But, it stunk and I didn't have insurance so it wasn't worth purchasing the 2nd camera.

    I just bought the Motorola and I'm only using 1 camera on it for now but I love it so much more. It spans the room, zooms, you can view camera 1 or 2 or scan through both, I can speak to LO on it, etc. It came with 2 cameras too (and this time I  bought the warranty ;)

    I read reviews last night on the Motorola and was impressed! I think we are going to get that one with the 2 cameras :) I agree about the Summer ones.

    Did anyone have a voice monitor and get two receivers?  I would like one in each of their rooms.

    We have a Summer Infant Slim & Secure. We got it for DS#1 and then got a second camera for DD. I'd love a brand new monitor with three cameras, but realize it's a bit unnecessary. At most we'll get a third camera for the S&S when DS#2 arrives.
