How many betas did you have?

We got our BFP last week (still can't officially add it to my ticker yet) after 2 losses in 2011.
First beta was 97 and 2nd was 303 (72 hours later), which they said was good. She said if I wanted to keep checking the betas, we could but that it was up to me. I am scheduled for my first u/s at 7 weeks.
Wondering what the rest of you have experienced? TIA!
Me - 39, DH - 49.
BFP #1 6/09, DD- 03/17/10.
BFP #2 4/29/11, Blighted Ovum at 8 weeks
BFP #3 CP 12/27/11. RLP panel - normal. AMH - 2.1, FSH - 9.1, E2 - 74.
IUI #1 + 100mg Clomid - BFN. HSG - CLEAR!!

On my first pregnancy, I was checked twice, 48 hours apart. With my second pregnancy, I did 5, all 48 hours apart, but that was because the rise from my first to second was sluggish (25 to 38). This time, I went from 65 to 193 in 48 hours and my RE was happy with that.

I just got my betas today.First one was 900 second one 4 days later was 4,836. The nurse said this is good, but I'm honestly clueless about betas. I tried googling, but that was a bad idea. Can you ladies shed some light??

I had two drawn almost exactly 48 hrs apart and since they were doubling fine we didn't check anymore. I just went in a few wks later for u/s. Generally, if you are doubling within 48-72 hrs there isnt cause for alarm. Here is a good tool to check your doubling time :https://www.betabase.info/doublingCalc.php

Congrats!! I had two done this time--48 hours apart, but they doubled in 27 hours
So we left it at that.
Scheduled for my first u/s on Monday.

BFP 11/09 - DD 7/10 - BFP 8/11 - M/C 9/11 - BFP 6/12 - DD - 2/13
My RE did 4. They all looked good, but the first two were very early (like 11 dpo and 13 dpo) which may be why he wanted to do a few more. He wanted the numbers to be above 2000 before he scheduled the first ultrasound. Good luck!
