While I am close to my pre pregnancy weight, I have found that my body has changed considerably...I now know why they invented "mom" jeans...
Everything is flabbier, and I have a bad case of muffin top. My hips are wider, but my once problem area of my thighs are now thinner. Also, I thought I would develop some serious guns from lugging DD around, but sadly my upper arms are no where near gun status. I started lifting 5lb arm weights to tone my flabtastic arms.
How has your body changed? Any exercise tips for losing the muffin top?

Re: S/O how has your body changed PP?
I am having the same problem as you. I posted in the earlier post about how my pants don't fit (even though I weigh less) and I am avoiding the issue by wearing sundresses all summer.
I recently started kettlebell exercises and it is amazing! It is a total body workout, and I'm already starting to notice a difference in my core, which I hope translates to pants fitting and goodbye muffin top in a few more weeks.
I think kettlebells have been big in the UK for awhile, so you might be able to find a class at your gym. It is actually a lot of fun - I am starting with a 10lb one from Target and hope to work up to the next size (H got me a pink one in the next size up, so it is good motivation!)
gah! glad I'm not the only one! I've lost 10lbs more than I gained, but none of my clothes fit. I have a flat mom-butt, pancake boobs, wider hips, a pooch, and I've lost all muscle tone in my legs. And yes, I did not get the ripped arms everyone told me I would get. Good thing my little dude is worth it.
Success After Losses. I carry your
So glad I'm not alone. I'm at my PP weight, but I think I lost muscle and gained fat. Everything is just a bit jello-y.
I have started working out more regularly in the past few weeks. I'm not seeing big changes yet, but I do feel better about myself. Now if only working out could do something about gray hairs...
I was just thinking of starting a thread about this. Great minds think alike!
My arms are fat...it is weird. They are like 2 inches bigger than they used to be, and they look awful.
My belly is flabby, and my abs feel way different. I feel like there is a big space down the middle.
My boobs are 90 years old.
My butt and legs look pretty good. I can wear all my old jeans, but my shirts don't fit--too much boob and belly.
Thanks rockychrysler! I have a personal training session this Friday, I will ask about that!
At least we can all commiserate together on our PP bodies
it makes me feel somewhat better that I'm not alone...

2 words... twin skin. NOT pretty. I hate trying to find tops because I still look about 4 months pregnant.
I do need to lose some weight all around, but I know my belly isn't going anywhere.
Oh and how could I forget the grey hair and national geographic saggy boobs.
I love my girls but they did a number on my body.
Hips got a lil wider
Bra's are tigher BUT not because boobs are bigger but rib cage got a lil larger
Bobs got smaller
and belly is more "fluffy".
but I am down to my pre-preg weight...its just all shifted
Ughh...I can't imagine two! The gray hairs is like a kick in gut after what all our bodies have been through!

Agreement on the legs looking good! I would totally rock a mini skirt if I owned one
but I think to myself do my legs just look so good because the rest of me is as Keylime said it perfectly...jello-y!?!

My Blog
Jello-y is a very good word.
Boobs look old, I think they're the same size as pp, just saggy.
Tummy is not bad, a little more squishy.
Legs are thinner I think, but still flabby.
I think I look pretty good, I just keep my clothes on and dress in the dark!
. My hips were already very wide, and somehow managed to get even wider. The belly flab bothers me the most...it's so floppy and stretchy. I hate that I can grab it and pull on it--SO GROSS!
I guess I can't complain too much though. I gained 45lbs during pregnancy, and now am 20lbs under pre-pregnancy weight. I joined a bootcamp workout class in my neighborhood and have been watching calories since March and it's really working. I dropped a pant size, was feeling great about the way I look (even though by most standards I'm still "overweight"). I say WAS feeling great because the first tri bloat is already setting in. Nobody else seems to notice (thank goodness), but I feel so round!
BFP #2 - MC Aug 2012 - D&C w/ complications
Haha, I feel this way when I am rockin' the spanx!
Still hanging on to 6 lbs. above my regular weight, and 2" around my waist that won't go away. Breasts are larger but saggier. I haven't really noticed a change in my arms or legs...although I feel like I've got an 80 year-old's knees!
I can still wear most of my pants & skirts, but had to go up a size in tops, especially if they are button-downs. I usually went for dresses that accentuated my waist (what I considered my best feature) and now none of them fit. :-(
I'm going to have to look into kettle balls!
Oh no....I thought the space was my imagination. Is it a real thing that people get? DO you know if it is permanent?
I wasn't a hot ticket to begin with, but everything is pretty much the same.
Except my butt. And not the saggy cheeks....the other part.
It still hurts to have a BM unless I take Miralax every day. Stupid hemmies.
Maybe i'm in the minority, but my body is pretty much identical to what was pre-pregnancy. I didn't get stretch marks, I lost all the weight within 2 months and I look pretty much the same.
The only difference (which isn't noticeable to most) is that my boobs are smaller than they were pre-preg ever since I stopped bfing.
I'm 6 lb under pre-pregnancy weight, which is pretty underweight. I feel like a skeleton with extra belly skin :-/ My belly button now sticks out and my stomach protrudes more than before, probably due to weak or stretched out ab muscles. Other than that, a few stretch marks around my belly button/boobs, saggier boobs, hip structure seemed wider after giving birth but I'm not sure now, who could tell with the weight loss... I guess I need to take in more calories to make up for BFing but it's hard to find the time!
