For me it was more like a roll from the breast pillow to the bed, but it scared me pretty badly that I lost control of his whereabouts for a moment. He seemed to like it though. :face palm:

No "dropping" incidents but my LO is definitely becoming more squirmy. He's a big boy and has been pretty strong since he was born. The way he is able to push with his arms and legs freaks me out sometimes.

This! From the first week he was able to push him self up with his legs and literally crawl up me. I have to hold him really well when he's on my chest/shoulder or he will kick himself over.

haven't dropped him yet, but i read that most frist time moms have one experience with baby rolling off a change table, bed, etc. it's usually just as baby is learning to roll over and moms aren't used to having to hold their babies to keep from rolling away!
I haven't dropped her (yet), but the other night she was sleeping on my lap on the couch, and she must have had a dream or something... she launched herself upwards and sideways, and landed face-first in the folds of the couch. She slept through the whole thing, though, so she must have been fine... >.>
