Please Help!

Ladies I have question, I just had my baby girl in april and I just found out I am pregnant again! We were not planning on having our babies so close together but it happened.. How far apart are your kiddos and how difficult does it get?? Can I ever work again since I have always been a workaholic

Re: Please Help!

  • You will be fine! Things will be hectic for a little while but on th ebright side you already have everything you need other than one more car seat. You are still in diaper mode so no adjusting needed. Plus they get a built in playmate!

Ours are going to be 14 months apart so not really Irish twins like yours but still pretty close in age. I'm a workaholic too but at some point we have to accept we cant get everything done and if we do it will not all be perfect AND we will likely not sleep. There are plenty of working 2u2 moms. • Like PP said, you will be fine.  You will be stressed at times, but other times, you will look at your children and be so glad they are close and will have such a special bond (I know that is how I feel).  After having my second (they are Irish Twins) I was able to go back to work and do all of the work related things I needed. I had amazing support and help from my H and from family, so that played a big part in making things easier.  I am currently expecting #3 and know that there will be moments of stress, but I am so looking forward to having my children close in age!

  • Same thing happened to me with my boys. It was really difficult for my oldest to adjust to the new little guy, but I didn't know you had to prepare the oldest for the new one. Now I know better.

A lot of people suggested to me this time (I'm preggo again) that I give the boys presents when in the hospital  "from the baby". And that I should also give them a baby doll to get used to  new baby before the day.

Things will definitely be hectic at first, but you'll adjust.

    Good luck.

  • Thanks so much ladies!! I was and still continue to be nervous but I am so glad that they will grow up together and hopefully be extremely close!! :) Now Im actually excited to meet our new LO and I know not only my DH will be helpful but my family will be there too! I guess I just have to accept their support once LO is here :) Thanks!
