My boyfriend and I are moving out of our apartment this weekend to live with his parents (bleh) until our house is ready in November. We decided that while we were packing and cleaning the place, we would collect all of the change or random $1 bills we have laying around, cash it in, and buy a fun splurge for the baby. The best part is that not only did we find about $300, but we also have our a/s on Thursday...so we wanted to go get something for him or her after the appointment. His first suggestion was a "badass" stroller, but I had to break it to him that 1. we sure as hell wouldn't get that for $300, and 2. our parents have already offered to buy that for us. I told him that I thought we should get something fun and not something that is a necessity. Any suggestions?

my splurge suggestion is a diaper bag . I really wanted this cute one from kate spade.
Other option I though of was good glider.
Lol I love all the suggestions above but I'm still blown away that you found $300 laying around in change and $1.00 bills! I think the most I'd find is a penny lol
Hood job! I'd buy decorations for the nursery. DIY things.

I'd wait until after your shower if you are having one. You don't want to have a totally worthless splurge!
How about a nice 529 plan? Not in the spirit of what you were going for, but I guarantee this won't be something you regret later.
Haha, my boyfriend is a notorious change-aholic. To be honest, I am surprised that is all we found...but then again, we still have to go through the bedroom, so we'll see!
