second part to first OB appointment

My appointment was supposed to be last Wednesday, but thanks to lovely construction, we arrived late and had to reschedule for today (I was SO upset). 

But DH, DD & I went in today and we saw the LO! Heartbeat was 182 and they said I am measuring 10w5d, right on track. So Valentines Day it is!! (or sometime around then, obviously it's not set in stone!) 
My labs came back good & I have lost 6 pounds in less than a month, but they said that it's okay as I have had nausea and also have been eating smaller portions when I do eat, as I can't stomach much. But that part seems to be getting better and fading away, I am now exhausted, constantly, I could sleep all the time.

A cute moment to share though... during my ultrasound, the LO wiggled their arm (it looked like a wave). And DD was absolutely thrilled because her brother/sister waved too her. It was so sweet :) 

I can't believe I will be 11 weeks Thursday and then almost done with the first trimester! it's been semi quick for me.

    Sucks you had to wait till today.  But how exciting that you got to see the baby!!

    Congrats on a great appt!  Thank you for uploading the pic...baby is looking so cute!  I am one day behind you, and have an appt tomorrow afternoon.  I know the midwife will be using the doppler to listen for a heartbeat, but after seeing your pic I really hope for an ultrasound too!!!!  :-)

    Sorry you had to delay your appointment, but just think- the baby had that many more days to get "baby like" instead of blob like for the pic! :-)
