When to tell work

I work in a small office of 20 people.  We recently had someone leave the beginning of July and now another employee just gave their 2 weeks? notice.  I am due Feb 23 just as my office enters its SUPER busy time.  With all of these changes I am starting to freak out about what my bosses will say when I tell them about the baby.  Does anyone have any thoughts of how to soften the news for them?

    I would do two things - 1. make sure you are super amazing at your job in the next few weeks, so that they know that pregnancy isn't affecting how you work, and 2. make sure to tell your boss before you start showing!

    I really dont have a suggestion but good luck.  I am sure your boss is already trying to figure out what to do.

    This. I think being as honest and upfront with your boss as you can be is the best thing to do. If you wait until after you start showing, they might feel like you were trying to hide it from them and that probably won't make them too happy.

    This! I unfortunately already had to tell work. I work in a huge hospital lab and word spreads like wildfire, so I only had to tell a couple of people, including my supervisor. My prenatal lab work is run where I work, so I knew as soon as I brought in that slip and they started running "the baby tests" as we call it, everyone would know anyways.
