My son is ready to move from our Britax Boulevard into a booster seat (5pt harness). Any recomendations? Ive been considering the Britax Frontier and Sunshine Radian RXT or R120. Any advice is appreciated.
I would not buy a radian if you aren't going to be using it as a rear facing seat since the high height/weight limits for rear facing are really what the seat is known for, so you're not using half of what you're paying for on it. Also, the booster function is limited use at best on that particular seat. My daughter outgrew the harness of the radian for height at 4 years and just barely 40 lbs (this is unusually young for the radian, but she's tall with a disproportionately long torso), but in order to use it in booster mode there's a minimum weight of 50 lbs, so there would have been a 10 lb period in which she couldn't use the radian at all and I would have had to buy another seat.
The britax frontier is a great seat. It has the tallest top harness straps of any seat on the market and also becomes the tallest high back booster, so it will easily get your son to a size where he no longer needs a booster at all.

Using this information we bought Britax Frontier 85 SICT

Britax Frontier 85, Graco Nautilus, Graco Argo, Evenflo Maestro. Frontier will last the longest and is the most expensive.
