Just got back from getting more b/w done. Instead of sitting me in the normal waiting room with everyone else, I was told to sit in one of the chairs outside the lab at my dr.'s office. The lab also happens to be between the 2 bathrooms, so while I was sitting there I got to watch at least 5 preggo girls walk by. Some with husbands and u/s pictures, some by themselves... but all with big, obvious preggo bellies.
What sense does it make to put someone who recently had a m/c in the most high traffic area of the office, to watch everyone walk by and hear everyone's conversations? I would love it if there could be a separate area for those of us who have suffered a loss. Maybe then I could actually make it through the wait without crying.
Thanks for letting me vent!

Awww (((HUGS)))
I seriously don't know why they do it either. My only suggestion is next time go there and find the chair that faces a corner (or faces as few things as possible) and bring a book or play with your phone and don't look up until you hear your name called..
I hate that we have to live like that but it's the only thing that's helped me
I agree with you 100%! I had to go through the same thing at my dr. office and it was torture! I just wanted to break down and cry the whole time I was sitting there. Having a separate waiting room would be so helpful for those who suffered a loss. BIG ((HUGS)) sorry you had to go through that!

I'm sorry you had to go through that.
My thought is they were trying to be sensitive, but then didn't think about the bathroom factor. Unffortunately, no matter what you do though, in an OBGYN's office you will see pg women. Unless, like the PP said, they bring in on off-hours.
