We had DDs pics when she was just 3 days old, so I still felt fat. We wore black and were only shot for the waist up. I'll prb do black again this time even though I much prefer color. The baby is the focus though so I'm not too worried. I also prefer natural and lots of nekkid baby pics! We will do a couple w a knit diaper cover/hat set I bought on etsy and another w an aviators hat thing since DH is a pilot.

I won't be in any of the pictures. I haven't decided what to put on DS1 for the brother pics. I want something soft like this, so maybe just jeans and a tshirt from JCrew.
For the newborn, I will have his little monster hat that is his Halloween costume and the rest will be swaddled or naked.
We were told to wear either black, white, or cream. DH looks weird in black (he is an earth tones kinda guy) and I don't look great in white, so we're going with cream. DS and I will likely have to get new shirts between now and then that are cream colored, but DH will likely wear the same cream shirt he wore in the maternity pics.
DD will likely be nekkid. Some pictures she will likely have a hat on. I just won an owl hat in an auction and asked for it to be made in 3-6 months size, but DS was born with a huge head so it may fit her already (I hope not unless it is super stretchy). I have a friend who makes adorable bows and headbands and I may have her make a newborn flower headband for the occasion.
DH is a veteran so I would love something in his uniform with her. I want a tutu for her to wear in some pics and I'd like to find a cute knit something on etsy.
I bought a bunch of crochet photo props for the baby that are all gender neutral. I am able to add a bow or flower to them if the baby is a girl.
I found a cow outfit I love yesterday so I'm working with other store owners to try to put this outfit together now. (since it can be used either way). Ok I dont think this picture is posting..
For us I'm not sure as it depends what fits me. I was able to get into my regular jeans for my daugthers newborn pictures so i'm hoping its the same this time. I just wore a maternity shirt that fit.
Goodness, I haven't even given this any thought until I read this post. Thanks for making it! Well, I like the idea I read above of wearing a neutral color. I will probably wear a white or black too (depending on what I can fit in). Most of the pictures will be of the baby anyways. I am sure 7-12 days after the baby, I will not feel attractive in anything I wear. For the baby, I found an adorable (yet subtle) crotchet monkey hat that I want her to wear in a couple of shots. My nickname for her is my little monkey, so it is fitting for us. The rest will be naked baby shots as they are the best!
I have no idea what we'll wear--something very basic. For DD the photographer will have most of the props, but I have a couple of things that I want to use--bloomers with her monogram and a set from Etsy that we fell in love with (it's a piglet hat and diaper cover and we want to use it because her nickname was Bacon before we knew she is a girl).

I tell my clients to wear what they are comfortable it. Patterns and texture work well to hide the post partum belly and layering always looks great in photos. I usually have baby naked and ask that siblings be dressed comfortably as well.
This isn't the time to bust out the christmas best.

One of my best friends made us an owl hat and matching blanket. Once our LO arrives baby will be nekkid and wearing their sweet hat.
