All of a sudden night waking/fussing?

My daughter is a great sleeper...

Last week on vacation she started waking up around 3/4 am and crying, fussing and repositioning herself in her pack-and-play. I thought perhaps this behavior was due to her being out of her environment.  We came home from vacation and she was back to sleeping through the night (initially).

Now we are back to her waking up in the middle of the night. She cries for a few seconds, puts herself to sleep, and then a few minutes later cries again. I have gone to her the past few nights but this morning (5 am) I tried to ignore her to see if she would realize I wasn?t coming in so I got ready for work and 45 mins later she was still crying on-and ?off.

I went into her room and once she saw me she was super happy. I changed her, gave her a bottle, laid her down and off to sleep she went.

She is going through a HUGE mommy phase. Cries when I leave rooms etc. I almost wonder if she just wants my affection in the middle of the night?

I don?t know?anyone experience something similar?

    we are in a similar situation.... lo usually sleeps 11-12 hrs straight a night. however, this past whole week she has been waking up anywhere between 2 and 5 am screaming her head off. there are times she shrieks like she is in pain. a few times ive brought her into bed with us and she falls fast asleep on me. this morning i just went in and rocked her for a bit and then put her back in the crib. she cried for 10 seconds but zonked out again. i dont know whats causing this... would love  to hear other insight to this. ive just realized how lucky we have been to have a great sleeper this whole time because this momma looooves her some sleep!
