Anyone already have names in mind??

If so, share! I'm clueless!

Re: Anyone already have names in mind??

  • My husband is Irish, so we're thinking about Irish names. For some reason we are really crazy about the name Sorsha for a girl (spelled Saoirse in Gaelic). For a boy we really like Ronan.

  • We have our boy name picked out since its the same one from our first pregnancy. We have a couple girl name we like, but haven't decided yet.  We like Hebrew names and their meanings and are sticking with those for our kiddos.

  • We have a boy name picked out, it's Christian after my grandpa Christianson. His funeral was the day before our IUI. Lots of emotions attached to it.

  • We are using Caroline if it's a girl and a boy, either Thomas or Jasper.. I am so torn on those two!

  • Bianca, James, Grady, Demetria, and Theodore.
  • Yes, but just because they are left over from #1

    Boy: Josiah Nathaniel

Girl: Linnea Christine, Lillian Christine, or Eleanor Christine

  • We're looking at June Ellen and Nell Anne for a girl, and James Jacob or Henry Jacob for a boy.

  • I'm thinking for girl:

    Peyton, Chloe, Olivia, Katlyn, Abby

    Boy:

    Peyton, Logan, Shane, Landen

not sure on middle names yet.  I have three girls whose names are Harley Rae, Jazmyn  Renee Kay, and Destiny May so it would be neat to keep the pattern going but idk lol

  • Getting DH to talk names is like pulling teeth. If it's a boy we will probably go with our choice from the last go round: Edward Fox

For girls, I have a million names I like, and I can guarantee DH will not like any of them...just like last time! It was so hard deciding on a girl name, but we found the perfect one, so if this one's a girl I know we will be able to do it again.

  • Boy: Tyler James
    Girl: Tabitha Jean

Our name discussions took all of five minutes since we're using family names and wanted to honor our best friend (who's been like a brother to DH for 17 years, he even married us) by making sure the second baby has his initals/his nickname (TJ).

  • We will most likely name the baby Zoe Kate if we have a girl.  We cannot agree on a single boy name, but have a few that are in the running: Will, Cole, Chase, among others....
  • Girl: Emmerson Taylor

Boy: Rollins Carter...although I am open for spelling suggestions on the first name  because it is supposed to rhyme with "Collin" and is spelled like "Roll" so I am sure people will pronounce it wrong all the time!

  • If its a girl, her name will be Peyton Beach (my moms middle name) and for a boy it's between Shayne John and Finn (can't think of a middle name to go with it, I'm leading towards Major, my hubby's dads middle name).

I thought it was Rollin as in Collin when I read it but I think you meant to write Rollin (with no s) right?

We've had issues coming up with the boys name but the girl's is pretty set.

Lily Maureen (the middle name is a play off of my maiden name)

Some boy options are: Carter, Seth, Malcolm, Jeremiah (BIL's), Logan, Riley

My husband has always been dead set on Saoirse (though we pronounce it Seer-sha).  I love the name, but I don't want her to have to pronounce and spell it for everyone she ever comes in contact with.  haha.  He is starting to consider other names.  His new favorite seems to be Teagan.

We are also trying to stick with Irish names, though we have a few others in the mix.  Right now, they are all just maybes and will likely change before we have the baby, but it's fun to start thinking about them now.

Our name options so far for girls:  Teagan, Harper, Sawyer, Lucy, Emily, Saoirse (maybe)   Boys:  Connor, Liam, Declan, Logan

  • Girl: Julia (were having trouble agreeing of other names, I would like 2-3 picked out) My husband actually prefers Julie, but I like julia better. So we will see. (Middle name will probably be tracey after my mom, but not sure yet)

Boy: Landon, Zachary (Middle name will be Matthew after my husband)

    We have a shortlist going.

I like fairly classic names, and so does he.

    Some top picks:

Nora, Grace, Gretchen, Anne, Eliza, Julia, Elaine

    William, Benjamin, Joseph/Joe, Thomas, Sebastian

    Natural m/c 8/31/12 at 11 wks BFP #2 - Due August 16!
  • We picked ours in one sitting!

Girl: Elizabeth McKenzie (I've always LOVED the name Elizabeth and McKendry is my FIL's middle name so we just feminized it.)
Boy: Edward James (Edward for my paternal grandfather and James is DH's own middle name)

Until we find out the sex we'll be calling the baby "E. (lastname)" hah. :)

  • We've started brainstorming. There are quite a few we like. We are mostly talking boy names. I think Nicholas (possibly spelled differently) and Micheal are at the top of our list so far.

Glad you knew how to pronounce it! We actually like the "S" on the end. The funny thing is I had never heard this name before until maybe 3 weeks ago when we had a waiter named Rollins...it has totally grown on me.

And I love your girls name! I would say for your boy...go Carter! Smile

  • We have yet to seriously talk names.  DH keeps throwing out band names.  Led Zeppelin W.... is the most recent.  I don't think so.  Good try though.

I love Ruby Jean.  Ruby is my Great Grandma.  And Jean is my sister's/aunt's middle name.  Haven't really found a boy name that I love.  Seeing good ideas out there though.

  • So many names.  Lol.  The middle name will most likely be the same as my middle name, my dad's middle name and my dad's mother's maiden name; it's a really classic, short name that goes well with everything.  Easy peasy.

    First names we like are:

Charlotte (nn Charlie), Matilda, Hazel, Alice, Grace, Ada

    or

James, Bruce, Charles, Oliver, Simon, William, George, Stephan (pronounced as Stephen, but my family has misspelled it for generations), Samuel

H likes Linus, but I think that's a bit too much.  I like it, but it reminds me of Peanuts.  Which, interestingly enough, is why I wasn't named Lucy.  Well, Lucille Ball also had something to do with that.
