So we had the party yesterday, and as it
turned out, one of the girls in her class moved schools while we were
out of town, so they never got the invite, but two other girls and their
parents called two or three days before the party to say they were
coming, and apologized for taking so long to RSVP. The party went great,
and we had a total of three little girls, and four little boys who
came, and probably fifteen adults. Basil had SUCH a great time, and
totally didn't even notice that half the girls from her class didn't
come. So I guess I was worrying for nothing, but thanks for all the
responses to my original post!
On another note, as much as I
planned for her party, and was excited about it, I am so glad it's over
now! I am a very socially anxious person, and so having people I didn't
know come to a party I was throwing was nerve wrecking. But I think I
did okay, as everyone thanked us when they left, and everyone seemed to
have a good time.
And now I think I'll share a few shots from the party, because I'm still pretty excited about it.
Re: Update to no one RSVPing to DD's Birthday Party:
That's so great!!! I'm so glad. I know how it feels when you don't get a big response at first---and you want it to be big for your LO. So great it turned out good.
Love the pics!!
