I bought two costumes last year on clearance, a zebra and a bumble bee. Of course I am so rediculous that I will probably look again for something else. lol
I bought Joshua's about 2 months ago - it was on clearance at Gymboree for under $4.00 after all the discoutns. It is a dragon & I feel pretty certain it will fit him at Halloween. If not, I know I can sell it for more than I paid for it.

I did "think" a little about this, just cause it'll be fun to dress a 3 month old but that's as far as I got.
MSW - did you get the right size? That's always my fear with purchasing in advance, I suck at guessing.
They are 2T, and if that doesn't fit her then she is going through some sort of freak growth spurt or something. She has always been ont he slim side, and for 3 dollars a costume on clearance its worth the gamble. Like Caniac said, if they dont fit a month before or I dont think they will, I can easily unload them on ebay for more than I paid. Win/ Win for Marsam.

BTW I'm a total retard. LO#2 will only be about 4-6 weeks old! DUH!
I've started to this past week. I've seen a lot of sales/coupons floating around on the internet, which has gotten my attention. I don't know if I should dress the girls as a combo theme, or completely differently.
I feel like we always think of funny ideas and then forget them and have to figure something out the day before. Friends of ours gave us a costume they had that their kid outgrew. It's Tinkerbell. Cute, but not at all funny and I'm a big fan of funny costumes. (Last year she went as C3P0 and DH went as Chewbacca and carried her.)

What kind of costumes are you looking at?
You are both nuts.

Perhaps I'll start poking around.
