Cutting Teeth?

I've already been through the teething thing once so I should know this but I honestly can't remember. I can see the little white bumps so I know the teeth are there right under the skin and the pediatrician saw them today too but how long was it until your little one's teeth actually cut through? I want to say it was a matter of days with my daughter but the things I've already forgotten are so numerous. And it's been less than two years!

    It only took a couple of days for my daughters to start cutting through after we saw them under the surface. The more I give her things to chew on, the faster the other teeth follow suit. I love giving her a dry washcloth with an ice cube wrapped in, and then I use a spare hair tie to keep it together, then she's not SOAKED or FREEZING, since I started doing that for her, her teeth have been coming in left and right!

    Like this idea. I'll give it a try next time DS is teething.

    We had white bumps of almost cut through teeth that were visible at 3 months and didnt come through for almost a month and a half, and we dealt with all the drooling and crankiness the whole time. The next set (4) I didn't see coming at all and just popped up overnight it seems.
