Hip problems from pregnancy/labor

I feel like an old woman and I'm not even 30 yet! Ever since I had M my left hip easily pops and is super painful if my knee points outwards at all. If I have a day where I lift a lot or am super active the whole left side of my pelvis and lower back are sore for days!

I have a referral from my PCP for PT, I just need to find a place that's either open nights or weekends so I can schedule some time to go. I think I probably just need some strengething excersises.

Is anyone else still dealing with residual issues from the pregnancy or labor?

  • My hips hurt if I walk too much. They just get sore really really easily now and started when I was about 7 months pregnant.

    My husband always makes fun of me for being a slow poke when we're out and about but I just can't move the way I used to.

  • My knees hurt me more than they used to, like when I go to stand up from a low point (like the floor, or toilet).  I had trouble with that during the 3rd trimester...
  • I was just talking to my mom about how sore my knees have been lately and she showed me a few good exercises to help (she has had knee surgery). I just assumed it was being on the floor with the kids a lot and not doing enough strength exercises; but I love the idea of blaming it on the kids.

  • About once week my lower back aches soooo badly!  Also, ever since having DD my feet hurt really bad after sitting for awhile and then getting up.  It hurts enough that I've been thinking about going to see a podiatrist.

  • I have hip/low back pain with running or any kind of jarring exercise.  I actually went to the chiropractor today for the first time and after one adjustment it feels a ton better!
