Surprise, I had 4 hostesses not 3!

So may 3 friends have been planning my shower for weeks now, and when we meet up to talk about things it's just the 4 of us. Well my shower was today and when I stood up to personally thank my 3 friends, one said "Oh so and so helped also!". I froze for a second and thanked the other person as well. I had NO CLUE she did anything to help my other friends, found out later she brought the martini glasses we had veggies in and possibly something else. Whereas my 3 friends made food, did the decor, sent invites, the whole sha-bang.

I already bought spa giftcards and candles for my 3 friends and secretly put them in their cars so the 4th girl wouldn't see since I didn't have one for her. Should I get one for her or send her a thank you card for helping?

Oh and thank God I didn't give them their gifts in front of everyone or when she was standing there...that would have been mortifying on my part! LOL Got that little tidbit of helpful info from this board a couple days ago actually.

I agree with PP. It doesn't really sound like she did much for the party compared to the other 3. I would just send her a thank you card.

A detailed TY card expressing your gratitude is all that's necessary IMO. In my family/friend circles it's common for guests to help out here or there without being a host(ess).
