My husband and I are due with our first child in November and are very interested in co sleeping. We were wondering what bed rails other co sleeping families use on their bed so we can have a starting place. Thanks
I bought one (munchkin I think) but never installed it. We ave a king size bed and the baby stayed in the middle, but snuggled up to me. I wouldn't have done it with a queen though, he would have been too close to my deep-sleeping husband

Maybe this won't be too helpful, but right now DH and I have DD's crib moved right up against my side of the bed with the side rail off - that way she's kind of in an 'extension' of our bed (we filled up the crack between the two mattresses with rolled blankets), and it's worked really well! Also, when I need to bring her closer to nurse, I can just keep her on the 'edge' between the two beds, and that still leaves us ample room to sleep. I actually think that she sleeps a little better that when than when we were all sharing 1 bed because she's kind of a light sleeper, so this way she's not woken up by our moving on the mattress or accidentally touching her too much in our sleep.

Re: Co sleeping bed rail
Safety First Top Bed Rail
I liked that because it clamped on the top so there was no gap between rail and mattress. It doesn't move, so you have to crawl around it.
Other options are side-carring the crib or buying an Arm's Reach Cosleeper.
