I'm bored. DH went to take a nap. Sitting here with S and a farting dog. How was your weekend?

My SIL and BIL got back in town yesterday, and we had lunch with the whole family today. Even my hermit younger BIL showed up. So it was an interesting day. I don't know if any of you recall, but this is the SIL who smoked her entire pregnancy/is still, and her LO is 3 months older than S and is MUCH smaller than him. Well we had some interesting smoking conversations... Ha. Oh family...

    Yay for fireworks and shopping! And boo for the inlaws popping in. But at least you got a drunken date out of it ;]

    DH and I wore ourselves out at the bouncy house birthday party today, so we decided to drink giant iced coffees around 3 and I haven't seen him since. I attacked the kitchen like a spider monkey and I believe he is out in the garage doing similarly crackheaded things.

    The kids are about to go to bed and then I'm going to spend the last of this caffeine high at my sewing machine.

    My weekend was far, far, too busy.  Which I hate.  I feel wholly unprepared for the week.

    Saturday I went up to visit my mom and got caught in traffic both going up and coming back.  So the quick trip ended up being an all day thing.

    Today between grocery shopping and a long hike, I didn't get home till 6 and first had to start dinner, lunches, etc.

    I'm exhausted - I need a weekend to recover from my weekend!

    DD and I laid around with terrible head colds. Occasionally I sucked her snot and then I used the netti pot on myself. It was rainy anyway, so I got caught up on TV.
