So last night I had a dream that I was at this place where there were a bunch of kids. I was sitting on this bench, looking down, and working on something when I noticed there was a kid standing in front of me. When I looked up, I saw that it was this boy, Andrew. (Background: Andrew went to the same elementary school as me, and his mom worked at that school with my mom. He was killed in a car accident when he was 10-years-old. His parents, who survived, were in front and he was laying down asleep in the back when a car hit them from behind.) Back to the dream, when I noticed that it was him, I grabbed and hugged him in total disbelief. I remember that I was starting to cry, just asking him how he was there and what was he doing there. I wasn't scared and didn't have any negative feelings, but I was just so confused how he was alive again. When I asked him, "what are you doing here?" He said, "I just wanted to tell you that you're doing good." I just remember crying, smiling, and hugging him.

This morning, I was still feeling a little strange about seeing him in my dream, since I hadn't thought about him or his family in a very long time. I tried laying in bed for quite a while, trying to remember if there was anything that happened yesterday that would have made me think of him. Usually, I can pinpoint something, but I had absolutely no clue why I would have dreamt about him. So being the google-addict that I am, I got up and started looking up what it means to see someone who died in your dream. I couldn't find much that really described my dream. Just thinking about him, I decided to look up his obituary. I was not trying to look for any information at this point and was really just going to read it to kind of remember him. That's when I had my mind blown. He had died ten years ago today...July 21, 2002. I have absolutely no memory of what time of year it was that he died or anything. I just cannot believe that this happened. It is so surreal. After lots of thinking about it, I am totally convinced that it wasn't a dream. It was actually him coming to see me and tell me he thought I was "doing good." I have never had anything even remotely like this happen, and I am still just thinking about it and had to share.

That is *crazy surreal*. I'm not a spiritual person by any stretch, but I do believe you can't ignore signs.

Even if it was a dream, I think you should take comfort in a message - you're doing good

Maybe you have a guardian angel?

Agree! (Ever watched Crossing over with John Edward? Used to be on ... sounds exactly like what some of he/ his people would describe.)

Same here. That is pretty amazing. Our subconscious mind is unbelievable. Your waking self may never have been able to remember that but your sleeping self, where your subconscious is allowed to "run free" can show you a lot of stuff. That's where your dreams come from.
