When did you start getting your cervix checks?

I'll be 33 this week. I know I'm already dilated to 3 cm. My ob doesn't check my cervix every week due to the fact she doesn't want to start anything. I'm curious on when did you start getting your cervix checked on a regular basis?

I've had mine checked pretty regularly starting at prob 27 weeks or so, however the closer I get to my due date the less I get checked. I think it can cause you to go into labor so they try not to do it if it's not necessary. I think I had mine checked before because I have had pre-term labor twice already

My doc said he wouldn't even start them (or NSTs) til 34 - 36 weeks. I was like Indifferent

aren't the average twins born at 35w?? I thought it was odd but I've given up questioning him haha. It may just be because I have had zero issues up to this point.

My Dr didn't start checking till 37 weeks as she didn't want to start anything and there was no indication it needed to be checked....was checked once before that at hospital at 30 weeks due to consistent braxton hicks and was having a fetal fibronectin done anyways

I'm having a c-section anyways. I was just curious when the average time was for multiples. Since I've been 3cm for about 5 weeks now. I don't really use it as an indicator of labor. Plus I'm not dying to have her check it

I delivered at 35w due to BP. I only had a cervix check the day I went for my 35w appointment and had the higher BP, when she decided to do the CS the next day.

he started checking around 36 weeks-ish.
