Porltand Mamas Who delivered at Legacy Emmanuel?

What was your experience like. I am 33 weeks on Sunday and starting to think about my hospital bag essentials. I am signed up for a hospital Water Birth at Legacy Emmanuel. Do they allow you to eat while there or is it advisable to eat prior or sneak in snacks? Are the nurses friendly? Do the birth tubs get filled up? In the event of a c-section, how hands on will they let you be with baby? Thank you for sharing your experiences.

    I recently shot a scheduled C-Sect at Emmanuel, and mama was wheeled out of the OR holding her bebe :) So they don't make you wait too long to nom that little face.

    I delivered at Emmanuel, had no problems with the nurses, I had one doctor when I first got there that I didn't like. She was a complete *itch, she had NO respect for me or my body and what felt good or not good. I wish I could remember her name... the doctor who gave me the epidural was fantastic, his name was Dr Walker! The doctor who delivered my son was Dr Jacobs! Good luck =)
