This board is still really small. There is still only one page of post, yet for some reason there are still new post about what to get for fathers day. Guys/Gals go check those posts before posting the same thing.

Agree. Original post backed as well. I've made a policy with myself not to reply to any of them out of principal, it probably won't help but whatever. I just hope enough guys hold tight and we come out alright.

I hate to start off on the wrong foot with somebody I don't know.... but I probably amgoing to, anyhow.

I never understand why people get so angry on message boards when people repeat a question or post which was already made. You know you don't HAVE to click on a post, right? I mean... when I read a message board, I typically skim through the titles to see if they are something that might interest me. If the title looks good, I click it. If it does not look interesting, is a repeat, is a stupid question or involves anything about Spam, I usually don't click on it.

My surfing goes something like this:

"What do I get my hubby for Father's Day?" {SKIP}

"What is your favorite type of scissors for clipping the umbilical cord?" {SKIP}

"Father's Day gift ideas..." {SKIP}

"Did you know that you can use toothbaste to clean your wedding ring?" {SKIP}

"My baby daddy is so sweet, what should I give him?" {SKIP}

"I need a recommendation for what beer to drink while shopping for a new pickup" {CLICK!}

Aside from seeming whiny when you complain about people repeat-posting, you also tend to scare away the lurkers who don't want to post for fear of upsetting the all-powerful "regulars" who b!tch about every post that doesn't come from within their clique.

Personally, I would be more understanding of asking why so many posts on the Big Daddy board are from chicks.

I know people are still gonna post the same topic no matter what. But I just decided to post about how dumb it is. I know it sounded whiney but whatever its what i felt like posting.

As far as people not wanting to post because they're not in 'the clique' this board doesn't have any yet, it is still pretty new. There are a few people on here (mainly women) who have been on the bump for a while but like stated just a second ago, this board is new. New dads shouldn't be afraid to post because the regular women because this isn't their board unless they consider themselves dads in their relationships.

I am still curious to see how the dads are 'handling' being a dad. I am still excited to hear different stories that everyone has experienced so i'm hoping this board picks up a little more and heads in the direction it was created for.

I can't believe you come here to annoy the men when they specifically ask to be left alone. Do you like it when Goats or Trolls come to our boards? No...and you all b*tch and moan about it don't you. Yes. So how is this different? Perhaps you lurking ladies should get off your high horses, STFU and leave the men in peace. Otherwise I'll invite them over to your boards to irritate the crap out of you and see how you like it.

there have been a few people that start to say some female related then change it to male. hence 'big girl panties... excuse me, big boy panties' this is just dumb. 1. because it just sounds stupid and 2. other people have said similar things. good lawd if it bugs that much that it annoys me, just let it be.
