Recently found out that am pregnant. First time. My hubby and i are very very excited; but i don't know where to start looking for a great OB/GYN in houston/humble area- am open for suggestions. I need to make my first prenatal visit. I am 5wks. Does anyone have any views on the new TCH Womens Pavilion at the med center?
Re: HELP! NEED OB/GYN.
I just heart my doctor here and several of my friends have used them as well. They have female and male doctors. I have not been released back to them yet from my RE but I know I will be in good hands once I am released.
I have used this practice for years for well woman's appointments.
They also have 4 offices around Houston.

I started at the Women's Specialists of Houston which delivers at the Women's Pavilion. I didn't like their office, thought they were disorganized, but it may have been my doctor. I am now with OGA. I think all their doctors just have rights at The Woman's Hospital, but several of them see clients in Kingwood certain days of the week.
I know several people who have delivered at the hospital in Kingwood and I havent heard any complaints. I have also heard good things about the lactation specialists at the Kingwood Hospital.
I go to The Women's Specialists of Houston which is affiliated with the TCH Women's Pavilion.
With my first child, I used the midwives practice there, but am currently seeing Dr. Ortique.
I am using Dr. Carrie J. Ball. I had to switch to her after Aetna stopped contacting with Kelsey-Seybold. So far, I like her. I miss the connection I had with my previous Dr (Dr Chanelle Clark). They both deliver at The Women's Hospital. I drive 45 min-1 hour for each appointment because I wanted to deliver in the Medical Center (specifically at Women's). Good Luck and I hope this helped.
