Day 37 and my beta is STILL positive!

I had yet another blood draw this morning (my 5th since my m/c) and my mutha effin beta is STILL 2.5!!  It's been stuck at 2.5 for 3 weeks now!  I'm ready to throw it in...I can't take this anymore.  I CAN'T!!!!

Because of this, an August transfer is out of the question.  I can't do a Septemeber transfer because a due date would put me right around my BFFs wedding that DH and I are both in and I really don't want to miss it (if it's at all possible.  I understand things can happen that are beyond our control.)  So that leaves us waiting 2 and a half months before our next cycle.

Wine and ice cream is on the menu tonight - eff the diet for today!

    I'm sorry.  It sucks when our bodies don't cooperate.  Definitely have some wine and ice cream.  (((hugs)))

    DE FET#1 ET 3/1714; BFP, beta 1 3/27= 197, beta 2 3/31= 1586, beta 3 4/7= 13879!!
    First u/s= Twins with HBs at 6w2d! We are Team Pink x 2!!

    Hugs.  I'm so sorry.  I thought we'd be cycling now and we are still on hold too waiting to see if the meds will help Dh.  I'm so sick of this crap for all of us.
    TTC #1 since October 2008. Dealing with MFI.
    IVF #1 w ICSI in July 2010 = BFN
    IVF #2.1 in Oct 2010 converted to IUI = BFN
    IVF #2.2 w ICSI in Dec 2010 = BFN
    Met with new RE in new city on 1/31/11.
    IVF #3 w ICSI in April 2011. HPT on 5/9 = BFP!
    Beta #1 on 5/10 (10dp5dt) = 99.4. Beta #2 on 5/12 = 284. First u/s on 5/26. = Fraternal TWINS!
    Twin boys born & lost on 8/16/11 at 18w1d due to PPROM & preterm labor.
    IVF #4.1 in Jan 2012 converted to IUI on 1/7/12 = BFN
    IVF #4.2 w ICSI in Feb 2012. Lupron on 2/10. Stims on 2/18. ER on 2/29- 7R,6F
    ET scheduled for 3/5/12- nothing to transfer :(
    Dh seeing new MFI uro & Dh starting meds- June 2012.
    IVF #5 in Dec 2012 = BFFN.
    IVF #6 planned for Spring 2013. Praying for our take home baby/ies.

    ((HUGS)) Mine took almost 30 days to come down...but the worst was that I bled for between 35 and 40. Not a fun process at all at a time when you just want to be able to move on! I hope your beta drops soon!

    7/20/11-ER:No eggs in 4/5 follicles. Left the 5th follie intact and converted to an IUI
    8/3/11-Beta #1=BFN,
    Nov, 2011 BFP #1=m/c at 7 wks 3 days
    11/11-AMH .47, IVF #2 March 2012...or not!! Surprise BFP on 2/19. Beta #1=161. Beta #2 305 Our little miracle girl is on her way! Due Oct 29, 2012

    Ugh. I'm sorry you're going through this. Can you at least lay off the beta tests for a couple weeks since you don't intend to cycle immediately and it is staying consistently low?

    DH: low count + very low motility; hormones all normal; Sperm DNA Frag. test = poor to fair; male karyotyping normal
    Me: FSH 13.4 + AMH 0.26 + hypothyroidism; Scratch the hypothyrodism (?); Blood clotting and immune panel all negative; endometrial biopsy normal

    IVF #1 (MDLF - Jul/Aug 2011): BFN (9R, 5M, 3F with ICSI, 3dt of 1 10-cell grade 2, no frosties)
    IVF #2 (EP-antagonist - Sep/Oct 2011): BFN (6R, 4M, 3F w/ ICSI, 3dt of 1 6-cell, 1 7-cell, grade 4s, no frosties)
    DE IVF #1 (shared cycle - June 2012): c/p (6R, 6F w/ICSI, 3dt 1 8-cell grade A- and 1 7-cell grade A-; no frosties)

    I don't think so because I've had 2 BFNs and it was 0 for both of those.

    I think this might be, in part, an insurance thing... they won't authorize another cycle until my level is 0.00.

    I am so sorry.  :(  I was soooo happy when mine finally reached 3, and it took forEVER .  The frustration to be stuck at such a so-close number has got to be just brutal.  FUIF!!!!

    IVF #1 September 2011 - ER 9/8/2011- 8R, 5M - icsi - 1 made it to transfer - BFFN :-(
    IVF #2 Lucky November 2011 - ER 11/25/2011 - 15 eggs!, 13 mature, 10 fertilized with isci - 7 made it to transfer! Transferred 1 - 8 cell and 2 - 7 cell. BFP!!!!
