I was just thinking about it, and S has only had 3 bottles today. We have random days like this. He had two 8oz bottles and one 6oz, so approx. 22oz a day? He is also eating finger foods and such, and SOME purees (he has to have applesauce or something to take his baby aspirin and another transplant drug he is on, they are ground up.) I'm curious what the average oz a day is around here?

This is Layla too, I have been unable to pump enough for her bottle when i'm gone during the day, so I nurse her in the morning, then she gets a 4-6oz formula bottle while I'm gone 9-1, then I nurse her a couple times, and she usually takes another 4-6 oz bottle before bedtime, most of the time it's 1/2 formula 1/2 breastmilk unless on a fluke I pump enough for her whole bottle, or I'm home for bedtime.
She does love her solids though, she eats 3 meals a day and 2-3 snacks of puffs, crackers or fruit, she absolutely loves watermelon right now.
My pedi said the same thing.
We still offer E five 6oz bottles per day, but she doesn't always finish them. I plan to change her schedule a bit this week - subtracting one bottle and adding a snack with a sippy of water. We're trying to encourage solids and finger foods over formula at this point.

"God is faithful, and he will not let you be tested beyond your strength, but with the testing he will also provide the way out so that you may be able to endure it" 1 Corinthians 10:13Cora has 24-32 ounces a day, depending on with time she gets up. Also, the last 4 ounces before bed are only half strength formula (we are trying to transition to water before bed since she only wants the bottle 50% of the time anyway). She eats 3 ounces of greek yogurt or cottage cheese and 1/2 a pouch of fruit/veggie mix in the morning, cut up fruit and finger foods (today she has leftover pasta and meet sauce) in the afternoon, and dinner with us.
Shs eats her 8 oz bottles at 8, 12 and 4 and her meals at 10, 2 and 6.
I am so glad you posted this because I've been a little worried!
I offer Rhys four 7 oz bottles a day, but he really only finishes the first one. So he gets about 22-28 oz, which is really down from his usual 35 oz. He's also just gone down on his intake within the last two weeks. He also gets three meals of 4 oz of pur?es with some finger foods throughout the day.
I'm really happy to see that this is normal, if not a little more than normal!
