How many children are you planning to have? Why?
We worry about what a child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that he is someone today. ~Stacia Tauscher
Re: **Central PA Mommies Check-In**
We aren't sure yet. DH is a middle child, and he has great sympathy to any "middle child" so he says we're having either 1, or an even number. I can't see myself having 4 kids, so it will either be 1 or 2.
I too worry about sharing attention equally with more than one child. But I also think it would be nice for her to have a sibling. I think we'll wait until we get through the first year and then think about it more seriously.
We are planning on 3, maybe 4 - depending on how things go. I'm an only child and always wished I had brothers and sisters, and DH has two brothers so he definitely wants a big family.
I always wanted at least 2 possibly 3 kids. I must say I love my boys but I would like to try for a girl. But given that would most likely mean fertility treatments again, I'm not so sure we'll be having a 3rd as DH doesn't want to go fertility route again.

My DH is the same way although he's not a middle child himself. When I was pregnant, he admitted that he wanted 4 children. I finally got on board with that, and now that we have Caleb he's backing down to only wanting 2. I think once we're out of the newborn/infant stage he'll change his tune again. So basically at this point we'd either like 2 or 4.
