Without looking at the SSA charts, just from the number of babies you've met or heard of these days, which names seem most popular?
Names like Scarlett, Alexandra and Olivia are relatively popular, but have you heard of any babies called that?
Or names like Willow, Harper and Piper that are rising fast? Do you know of any?

Re: Which names seem the most popular to you?
To me, Charlotte and Oliver sound like they might make a huge leap this year- this is mainly based on the number of people wanting to go with those names on here, however I have met a little Charlotte recently and a co-worker just named her DS Oliver- not an overwhelming number of IRL people, but I had never known any Charlotte/Oliver's before.
I think Olivia has been popular for some time now and it's probably just going to hold steady. I think Scarlett is more on the trendy/popular side and I never thought of Alexandra as popular. Willow and Piper get mentioned on here a lot but I've never heard them mentioned IRL (other than by myself who was really fighting for Piper for a while) but I think Harper is going to get very popular.
I'm pretty sure that Olivia is in the top 10, at least the top 20.
I think Scarlett fits in better with Willow, Harper, and Piper. They're names that are trending up and are certainly suggested a lot on here but I think are still out of the top 50. Willow might be lower but still trending up. Harper will get a huge a boost this year I think and that's not going to be reflected yet. I do agree with the sentiment that these names are rising fast, but I don't think they've hit their peak yet.
Alexandra I am guessing is trending down. I'm going to guess somewhere around 75.
The name on here that I personally know is Olivia and she's 14 or 15. I don't know that many kids and most of them have uncommon names. I think there was an Olivia in DS's daycare, but not in his class.
I know of 4 Olivia's where I curently live (Eastern US) and 7 Olivia's back home (the mid-west). that's alot of little Olivia's! I know two Alexandra's but no Scarlett's.
I have yet to meet a Willow, Piper, or Harper.
I know 3 Olivia's, 2 Piper's, none of the rest.
Great list--Good luck!
Harper is very popular around here, there are several in DD's daycare (including her little best friend). Olivia is also quite popular here. One mom at my OB's office mentioned her daughter's name was Piper. but that was the only one I have heard of.
I don't know of any Willow's, Alexandria's or the rest.
We are likely going with Charlotte for LO's name (either that or Lily). I love the name, but my only hang up is that it seems to be getting popular--at least from what I have read on here. That happened with DD's name--Sophie--we thought we were being original bringing a beautiful name back, but now the name is EVERYWHERE! (there are 2 Sophie's and a Sophia in DD's class of 8 kids at daycare!)
I know a few Sophias. That seems really popular to me. On FB, I've seen a lot of friends use Olivia and Isabelle as names for their little girls. Boys names seem to be varied in my circle of friends.
Edited to add: I don't know any Willows, Scarletts, Harpers, or Pipers.
The SSA list is a pretty good indicator of what's popular.
As far as "what I hear"....Olivia is everywhere. It's a pretty name that I'm beyond tired of. I don't know any little Alexandras, but I do hear "Lexi" a lot at the grocery store, so I assume many of them are either Alexandra or Alexis. I don't ever hear Scarlett, which surprises me since we're living in the South right now.
I've never met a baby named Willow. Piper and Harper are much-loved (Piper is DD's middle name, and we get oozing compliments over it), which I anticipate means they'll be pretty common.
The most common names I hear right now are Chloe/Zoe, Ella, Ava, Adeline, Charlotte and Mia. However, it's important to remember that when you hear, "Ava, slow down!" or "Mia, come back here!" the parents aren't talking to babies. What's up and coming is a little harder to find out unless you ask the parents their baby's name.
I know a 1 year old named Scarlett Olivia, thats it from your list. I also met a baby girl named Charlee (her parents originally liked Charlotte but decided to go with Charlee...)
I hear a lot of those other names you mentioned here on the boards but have yet to meet any.
I know at least one of all of the names you mentioned. The most being Olivias - in fact, I know two Olivia Catherines born just two months apart from each other.
Also nauseatingly popular are Emma, Ella, Ava, Madison (still), Sophia/Sophie, Charlottle, Mia, Maya, Allie, and Isabella. Also, Emerson is becoming popular around here for girls, which I just cannot wrap my head around.
I know lots of Olivias, but they are mostly in the 8-19 range now.
The only Harper I know is the mom of one of DS1's classmates (the daughter's name is Irene.)
I don't know any Scarletts, Alexandras, Willows or Pipers IRL. There is a ~5 yr old Stella at my church. (Stella and Scarlett are interchangeable to me because they are famous movie characters.)
Alexandra seems the least popular to me.
Willow I could see being very popular here in the PNW because of the prevalence of nature names.
ETA: I just remembered there was als0 an Olivia in DS1's 3y.o. preschool class this year.
I have a hard time with names that are really popular and names that seem to becoming popular. I know SOOOO many Olivia's, Isabella's and Ava's. I have never IRL met a Willow, Harper or Piper but I hear them mentioned constantly on this board. I work with kids and I hear Olivia everyday (I'm not exaggerating). Its a beautiful, way over used name IMO.
Cora and Nora. I hear them all the time on here. Olivia definitely is a big one.
Lots of Jackson and Max still.

My Ovulation Chart

Charlotte (2 under the age of 3)

Alyssa- (3 under the age of 6 & 4 adults)
Arianna (2 were in my daughter's preschool class & I know 2 babies recently named this as well)
Natural M/C at 7 weeks 9.17.08 Natural M/C at 7 weeks 2.1.13
Off your list, I know 1 child named Olivia IRL and that's it. (I went to school with an Alexandra, too.)
Otherwise, we know 3 Jacobs under 3 years. I've run into a couple Lilys and Emmas at the park/storytime/church nursery, but not as many as I would have expected, actually.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned Lily (oh, I see someone did, actually!). I'm so tired of meeting little ones named Lily - as well as Olivia, and Ava. Those have GOT to be the top 3 around here. I want to roll my eyes every time I hear one of those names!
For boys, it's Aiden, Brayden, Cayden, Hayden, Jayden - that whole trend. Gag. You hear those names EVERYWHERE I even know a family that has 2 of them.
