For those of you who said you were using a dresser with a changing pad on top to use as a diaper changing I have a question, What height dresser did you use. Due to space and our cats a changing table is a must. I am looking at this one at IKEA and I dont know if its to low:

Re: Changing table height
I don't know the height, but we use the long Mamm 6 drawer dresser from Ikea and it's perfect. Wait, here is the height: 30 3/4 inches.
I think that's too short. Mine is 40 inches tall.

My cat is not going to adjust to a baby taking over what she thinks is HER space. So I'd like to be able to set up boundaries. Clearly defining a space that belongs to Sweet Pea. No fur tail trying to nose in on diaper changing. Does that make sensor ?
Yep, I can understand that. This is not in reference to you needing a changing table, but from my experience, cats generally avoid babies in the beginning anyway. For us, after that stage, DD and my cat became the very best of friends. They follow each other around and play all day long. I never thought my cat (who ruled the house) would change the way she has and be so loving towards DD. Luckily, she also never goes in DD's room while she sleeping. It's like she knows what's okay and what's not okay.
I only say all of this because I stressed way too much before DD was born over our cat and DD each needing their own space and adjusting to each other. My stress was completely unnecessary.
I am planning on getting this one as well, just in white. Glad to know it works for you.

Im glad to hear all this. I'm super stressed about it. My cat isn't really social and pretty much hates everyone but me and is finally warming up to DH after 8 months. I'm hoping she likes Sweet Pea.
