the mosquitos are so bad here this year, we took LO to the fair last night and he got bitten all over, I have a citronella band on his stroller but its not working. I remember my mom used to use avon skin so soft but I was wondering if that's ok for 11 month old and where I can get other than Avon, or any bug sprays you use that work good, unfortunately LO takes after me and he gets these huge welts when he gets bitten :(

    I'll agree with Crash.  I would also think SSS would be usable as well.  Visit https://www.avon.com/ to find a consultant near you to buy from.  There are also those clip-on ones from OFF that are supposed to work, though I haven't tried them.
    MIL uses the OFF ones for horse back riding and says they work great.

    my pedi also recommended Avon Skin so soft.  She also told me if I use other sprays get it without deet and just spray it on their clothes not their skin.

    We bought CA Baby bug repellent and I do not think it works very well.  It kept the bugs away for maybe 15 mins, and then they were all over us.

    I have heard a lot of recs for Avon Skin so Soft bug guard, so we will try that next.

    Bug spray with deet is actually recommended as it is the only thing that repels ticks.

    After 6 months bug spray you use on yourself is okay to use on your kids.
