So LO usually has a routine in the morning where after he eats, he plays on the floor for awhile and then when he gets tired of that I put him in his bouncer (not jumperoo, just his little seat) and he will watch Play With Me Sesame if he feels like it. Well, I had him in his bouncer, and as usual once Bert and Ernie come on together he gets bored and throws a fit (too funny). Well, he pushed his feet forward and the bouncer only has him strapped in on the bottom, so he pushed his head and shoulders all the way back and almost made the bouncer tip over. I felt bad because my initial reaction was to yell his name, but it did stop him and he ended up not tipping it over. Obviously that seat is done with. My question is, are any of you using something else? We have a mamaroo and a swing. The mamaroo he doesn't really like anymore and the swing he is in now but it doesn't look comfortable in it. The straps are at their max and it's still tight on him. He is probably around 21 lbs so there is no point in buying something with a 25 lb limit. We don't have a PnP/play yard and DH thinks it's unnecessary, but we clearly need something to hold him in if we want to get anything done. Any suggestions? TIA
In case you were wondering, here is a pic of his bouncer

Re: Yikes!
We had the My Little Lamb seat when he was smaller. We put it away a long time ago. We use this seat now. However, LO doesn't like to be left alone. He is SUPER charged and likes constant attention so I can't "leave" him to get anything done. Enjoy!

Yeah I think my LO is super attached too and doesn't like to be left alone either. I wonder if he will tolerate a chair... but this is exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. Thanks!
Oh one question I did have-- I notice that this rocker doesn't have the five point harness..... have you noticed your LO "getting out" of the top? That was the issue we have had with his current seat since it doesn't have shoulder straps. I guess I may look for an equivalent infant-to-toddler seat with those straps, now that I know that such a seat exists!
I haven't had this problem. When LO wants out of something, he arches his back and throws his butt upwards. He is usually whining so I'm there to get him before anything might could happen. He likes to lean forward and the 5 point harness wouldn't allow him to do this.
He hates the carseat for this reason. He wants to be able to sit up in everything to see whats going on. He can't do this in his seat and he's not a happy camper in the car.
DS loves the jumeroo, he'll bounce in it forever. We also have a bumbo, a walker, a doorway jumper, and a infant-toddler rocker like PP linked. Also, if I'm in the kitchen I put him in his high chair. He won't sit in any one thing for too long.
It basically depends what room I'm in and what I'm doing as to what he sits in. I did break out the pack-n-play for the first time a couple days ago. He moves around so much now, so I started using it so I could take a shower and not have to worry about him
