Want to share your magic remedies? DD had 2 teeth pop through this week and it was NBD. But, I think more are coming and she isn't quite handling it in stride. We used the teething tablets with DS, but then they were recalled for unregulated amounts of belladonna and now I'm afraid to try them again. DD seemed to settle down after the tylenol kicked in. Amber teething necklaces and clove oil have been suggested to me. What's working for you guys?

Re: So, teething?
We obviously use it as spariingly as possible, but it appears as though our pedi was right and infant ibuprofen works wonders compared to tylenol. Within 15-20 mins of using it for teething pain LO would seem to calm down.
He's not a huge fan of the frozen teethers cuz they're so cold, and refrigerated doesn't seem to be cold enough. I have also been trying as much as possible to work the finger toothbrush into LOs bedtime routine when we can. I have found it really helps his gums at the time, so you could always do this without the toothpaste during the day.
Lastly, when LO has a tooth that is in that horrible end stage and is about to come through, may sound strange but I give him a mum mum to chew on. I noticed that it helped his last tooth to come through since it was hard (had a very small dot of blood on it so you could tell it helped the tooth break through the gumline) but still safe to chew on
DS loves chewing on a cold wet wash cloth when he is teething. He doesn't like the cold teething rings but loves a wash cloth.
I looked into the teething tablets, and they have set stricter standards for themselves since the recall. I feel okay using them! Here's the link - https://www.hylandsteething.com/faqs/ The info is in the "The Return of...." section.
Another thing that works for us is an ice cube in the mesh feeder.
Where do you buy amber necklaces? Are they for the baby to wear or mama? Overnight? Thanks.
Lots of cloth diaper stores sell the necklaces. Baby wears it. Some people do anklets so that they are less worried about overnight

I got mine off amazon. All the beads are individually knotted. You can put it on their ankle at night if you want.
Orajel naturals (it has clove oil), teething tablets, tylenol occasionaly. To chew on: frozen teething toys, infant toothbrush, the textured teething toys.
I have an amber necklace, but it doesn't seem to help him too much. Even though I really wanted it to.
I also wear him alot more, it calms him down and he always wants to be held when he's teething.
