Since I'll be 41 when LO is born I plan on her being my only one. I don't want to be selfish and try for more. I am just happy that I am getting this 1.

My husband has 8 siblings he wants to keep it at about half that haha. Though for a good 2 years straight he told me 19....and that he wants to name them all after comic book characters....I just try to ignore these comments LOL

Now, with IF and treatments and the cost/stress/time problem (My RE is 2 1/2 hours away. So, 5 hours driving for 1 of at least 5 dr. appts. a month...) we aren't sure if we're 1 and done. We like to think there will be at least one more, but we honestly just don't know.

Me 41 DH 33 Married 09/03/2011 DD1 EDD 08/18/01, born 08/03/2001 ~ 9lbs 10oz, 21.5 in
DS1 EDD 4/30/2004, born 05/04/2004 ~ 10lbs, 22 in mc 02/14/12 @ 5 weeks
DD2 EDD 12/25/12, born 12/30/12 ~ 10lbs 11oz, 21.25 in mc 12/05/15 @ 12 weeks Cautiously expecting 12/02/16
This is number two and I will be done after. I am not enjoying the pregnancy and am in a ton of pain, plus it took 4 years with this one and two with DS. I'll be 32 next month and think 38 would be way to much for me handle. (is we do the same timing as this one with DS and age and all)
I come from a huge extended family, and want a bunch of kids. I personally think one or two is boring. H comes from a really small family and wants no more than 2. I told H if they are all as easy as this one I'll keep popping them out until I can't. I said 5, but we might end up compromising somewhere in the middle.
I used to say 2, now I am thinking 1. As far as I am concerned, I will be considering college friend's kids siblings to my LO, we can get together and do "family vacations" while the hubby's are working since their schedules do not match up as well & they tend to prefer to stay home anyway. He/she would get to have "siblings" a few times a year, and be the only child the rest of the year.
Will be open to option of adoption/foster care in the future to add onto the family if the desire for more comes up.

I would love to name them after comic books characters, at least their real names anyway. . My husband is a big fan of comics and I enjoy watching them on the big screen. His favorite is Ironman, but we can't use Tony since that is my BIL's name.
Maybe 2, or this may be our one and only. I know other ladies have had it even harder, but 3 losses before this pregnancy was brutal and I'm not sure I want to go through it again. But maybe after this baby I will decide it would be worth it. We'll see.
One and done. My husband has already hinted around that if he ever wants more, he'll have to beg. I promise he'll have to do a whole lot more than beg, because I am good with one!
I'd like to be able to afford a comfortable lifestyle for my family, and also help - if not pay- for them to go to University. (Although they won't know I'm going to pay - they still have to get jobs just like I did.).
i have no idea to be honest... This is my first pregnancy but will be baby #2 since my BF has a daughter from his previous marriage... we might be done, we might not... i will start mothering a 2 year old about 2 months before my LO is born... just gonna take it one day at a time
I said 6 or more, just because this will be #4 and 5, and I'm not even 30. I have no idea what I'd do with the next 15 years if I didn't have at least one more baby to look forward to. Most people are just getting started with babies around our ages, so I figure we'll have one to three more!
Either 2 or 4, I always wanted 4 and DH agreed when we were first married to having 4. Now he changed his mind and wants 2, I'm not completely sure, sometimes I can see us just having the 2 and other times I can't imagine *only* having 2.
IF we end up having 4, it won't be for another 4-5 years, so we have quite a bit of time to decide and figure out what's best for our family.

Haha, this is kind of my thing with only having 2. I had just turned 23 when I found out I was pregnant with #2, I feel like I'm too young to be done having kids. What will I do when this one graduates from high school and I'm only 41?? lol
I've always wanted at least 2. My husband has a son from his first marriage so that makes 3 total. The challenge will be raising them so they feel like siblings and not half siblings, etc. I'm not quite sure how to do this since my parents never divorced and my brothers are my best friends. Looking forward to the challenge though .
I come from a mixed family like this. My advice is to ALWAYS simply refer to them and sister/brother or however the genders are. Don't dismiss your stepchild and say things like "I have a x and my DH has a son" be like "these are our children" If you inadvertently put a barrier up, his son will feel like a third wheel.
2 for us............Once the baby is born, they will be 7 years apart exactly. For the longest time we said we only wanted one, but we decided we wanted one more, and can't wait for this little one to come...though we are definitely done after this one

I am on of the older gals in this group too, and I agree with them. I don't want to go through this over 40 so we will more than likely be a one and done family. Either that or we will be a 2u2 family and I am not sure about that either...lol.

I said 2 because that where we stand right now. We would love one girl, one boy, but if we should end up with 2 girls or 2 boys then depending on where we stand after #2, we'll try for #3. 3 is the max though.
I don't know if that would even be a possibility though because by the time we are ready for #2 I'll be 35 (I am currently 30).

Same here. We are thinking just one, but 2 isn't outside the realm of possibilities. It has been an emotionally trying journey with the losses I have experienced and though I am so excited for this baby I don't know if I could do it again.
I think this is it, but I am still undecided- My husband and I each have a daughter from a previous marriage, so this will be 3.....It seems like plenty, but I am not totally ruling anything out.
I physically will give birth to 1. I only ever wanted 1 but got super lucky and was blessed with 2 girls when I married my husband - so this is our THIRD!
My husband is cool with whatever. I think if I told him I wanted 20 he'd be like "okay!"
I think 2 - well, I hope for 2. I'm not certain I'd want more than that. My H would love to have 12 if we could, but we are o-l-d(ish). I'm not sure how large families do it financially! God bless them.
Re: How many children do you plan on having? (CP)
H is officially talked into three now. I want 4-5, so I compromised on the clicky and put 4.
ETA: Although, if they were all like DS, I'd have 10.
I don't know. Originally we wanted between 2-4.

Well, the original plan was for two but I guess someone else had other plans for us!
3 will be my limit.
