Re: zoloft vs lexapro

  • I haven't taken lexapro, but am on zoloft and I personally haven't had any trouble with it, granted I am on a low dosage (50mg). It hasn't interfered with my breastfeeding, either, and my daughter doesn't seem effected by the amount that'd pass into the milk.

My doctor was thorough in asking, though, if it'd caused her diarrhea or irritability (which it can) and luckily neither of these are present.

    I would recommend Zoloft.

  • I was on Zoloft when my older daughter was a baby. She was breastfed at the time. I never noticed any side effects with her at the time. She is 8 now and she is fine.
