I'm sure you guys get asked this all the time, so I apologize in advance if this is redundant. I suffered a miscarriage in April and am so, so hopeful that this is going to be "our month" in terms of conceiving. I have been feeling a little off - slightly nauseous, lots of hot flashes and certain things are sounding gross. I know, I know - these could all be just flukes OR I could be getting sick with the flu or something, but like I said, I am so hoping it means something more.
I wanted to ask when you experienced your first pregnancy signs/symptoms? I know it would be rare to feel these things before getting a BFP, but I don't think it is impossible, either.
Thanks in advance.
Re: Very early/first signs of pregnancy?

a few days before our BFP I was feeling REALLY TIRED... I was a bit queasy during the day and thought hm... (I'd just come off the pill so I wasn't sure when my cycle was supposed to start - that was 28th day of my cycle and the month before I had a 35 day cycle)... Took a test that night and got BFN, then 3 days later I POAS with FMU and got BFP...
So I was tired and queasy first...
I hear that sore/sensitive nipples/breasts are a first common sign, but I did not have much sensitivity there to begin with.. so not suprised that this one didn't hit me..
Best wishes & Good Luck!
I broke out on my neck and started having trouble sleeping. I also was having very vivid dreams and started needing multiple naps during the day.
I didn't get my bfp until a week after AF was due...so I thought I was imagining all of it...
ezra everyday
I had incredibly sore boobs, worse than pms. I couldn't take off my bra without holding them up..haha! I was tired, crampy, and DH said I was really irritable. And when AF didn't come and my BBT was still high, I took a test.
I don't agree when people say if you are pregnant enough for symptoms you are pregnant enough for a BFP. Cuz I took a test at 9 DPO and it was negative, and I had some symptoms. I got my BFP at 12 DPO.
Ummm I find this unlikely since it can take a couple days for conception to actually occur plus it also takes time for hormones to rise (this is why it is difficult to get a positive before your missed period). I highly doubt you knew the exact moment you conceived.
Thank you all so much for your responses.
To the previous poster (or anyone who knows the answer) - you said there is a 2WW board that talks about symtroms - I don't see it - can you point me in the right direction? Thanks.
With DD1 I had sore breasts at maybe 4 wks, bfp at 5 weeks, and extremes fatigue hit shortly after that.
With my second pregnancy I didn't have any symptoms and I lost the baby early.
With this baby, I've been completely exhausted since the day before I got my bfp (2 days after my missed period) and my breasts have felt bigger. I had a little food adversion a coue days before my missed period, but nothing else so far.
BFP #1: 9-20-2010 EDD: 5-25-2011 DD #1 born: 5-23-2011
BFP #2: 6-14-2012 EDD: 2-15-2013 MC: 6-19-2012 5w5d
BFP #3: 7-18-2012 EDD: 3-26-2012
My biggest first symptom was missing my period. I got my BFP around 5 weeks. I had some cramping, breast tenderness, and fatigue for about a week & a half that I thought were just my usual PMS - when I realized I had missed my period by almost a week, I took the test.
Good luck!
