Shaky feeling all over

I am only four weeks and I have been getting a really bad shaky feeling throughout my entire body. I makes me feel weak and fatigued easily. I don't know what to do. This could be hypoglycemia, but I didn't know it would affect my body so severely as it is. This morning I woke, still feeling shaky, took a shower and started folding laundry. I couldn't finish the laundry and I had to sit down. This is a scary feeling and I automatically think of the worst.

Has anyone experienced this or know anything about what this could be?

Re: Shaky feeling all over

  • YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!!!!! I had that when I was pregnant with my daughter, and it scared the holy piss out of me. Went to the doctor, and he said limit all things with caffeine, and to eat properly, which I thought I was. Turns out it was nerves too. I felt like I was going to die. Scared my hubby really bad too. I took it easy, and totally turned my diet around, even though it wasn't bad, and I felt so much better. Try a banana for those shakes. They help.

  • I have this feeling all the time now. It's like I haven't eaten anything ever in my life. I feel fairly and weak. Guess I should get some lunch and drink some water.

  • Water always helps! Feel better!
  • I have this now, and I had it with my daughter. EAT! As soon as you wake up, eat. Even eat during the night if you have to. If I don't I feel awful like you do. Now, I know, so it rarely even happens cause I don't let it get to that point. Also, water is VERY important. I also feel faint if I'm someplace stuffy/warm. If you start to feel bad, take care of it right away, don't wait for it to get worse!

  • I've struggled with hypoglycemia my whole life, and it's definitely heightened during pregnancy. The shakes are my cue to get a sugar boost and protein immediately, otherwise I'll faint. It's a horrible feeling and can be very scary.

Make sure you stay hydrated, eat small frequent meals, get as much rest as possible, and keep your temperature regulated - that should keep it to a minimum. If it gets out of control you should talk to your doctor.

Hope this is helpful to you - stay healthy, Mama!  Smile

  • YEs I get the goose bumps and shaky weak feeling sometimes too.
