Woke up from my morning nap to get round 2 of breakfast from the fridge, and realized that something was out of place... DH was the last one to have it (after working from 6am till after 9pm yesterday) so I know he's the one who put it there.
Think males get pregnancy brain as well? or was it just due to being over tired....

(If you're like me and cannot figure out what doesn't belong, it's the container of ice cream ... took me a few moments of staring at it thinking it doesn't belong before I cognitively realized it was ice cream in the fridge, not in the freezer & it was there since last night when DH put it away)
Re: Any of your husbands exhibiting pregnancy brain symptoms? (funny)
Oh thank you both, I think that will help DH feel a little better .... we just got FroYo for "lunch" today since we're now out of ice cream.
There is a book I read last year, "Understanding the female brain" - all about our hormones and how they influence us at various stages of our lives. Also talked about how during pregnancy of someone the male is close to, and being around a baby triggers hormonal changes in the males - just as you're describing, testosterone levels change in response to pheromones given off by the female, or some other unknown trigger ... the idea being that it's evolved over generations, and he'll be a better father in terms of being more attentive towards the child's needs, so the child is more likely to survive & pass along the genes that allow the brain to sense the changes, etc. The author has another book, "Understanding the male brain" .... if I find out my LO is a boy I'll be cracking it open.
