Positive urine and blood today

Sorry in advance. This post may be a little long. So, I had a baby in April, and I miscarried last month, and according to the docs, I will be four weeks tomorrow. I didn't evem know my hubby and I were trying. lol Does anyone think that it popped positive from my miscarriage last month. The doc said because I didn't need a D & C and it was just a pregnancy that never came to be, that I could try again as soon as I wanted to. I bleed on my own with the miscarriage, and it was like 5 weeks ago or so. Sorry for the TMI people. But my hcg's were dropping on my own, and then BOOM, it just happened like they predicted. When the test popped positive, my husband, who is in the medical field, took me to his work for a blood draw. I don't know what the lab tech did, but she said the blood test she did just gives her a yes or no. They have to send out for the hcg test. So I will find out next week I guess sometime. Does anyone have thoughts. I mean, I was taking tests with the other and they were popping negative during the miscarriage. I just wanted to be sure I was getting everything out. The docs seem to think I'm pregnant, so HERE WE GROW again, I guess.

    I'm sorry for your loss. Did they check your hcg levels After your m/c to make sure everything went back to zero? I would assume that your levels would be back at zero by now and that any new hcg would be because of a new pregnancy. If so congrats! Sorry not much help but I know the girls over on pregnant after a loss might know more about these kinds of situations. They are awesome over there.

    With my m/c in Nov I had red spotting and then beta started dropping .. they told me I would start bleeding and treat that as my next period and then we would go back to TTC as soon as we wanted ( I was seeing RE at the time, and I did not ovulate the next cycle per the U/S ) ... from what I understood the bleeding started when the betas dropped very low which means by 5 weeks later, and bleeding you shouldnt have any HCG left from the M/C  .. sorry for your previous loss and congrats on BFP !

    Thank you for your help. I was thinking the same thing about my levels being back down ti zero. We are just hoping this one sticks. My husband and I have had 3 miscarriages already.

    I had a mc Sept of 2010 and then got pregnant like 2 weeks after with my son.  I have heard that you are very fertile for the 3 months after your mc.

    Congrats on the BFP and GL!!  I hope you have a sticky baby!

    Thank you all. I am feeling much better! I hope this is our take home baby as well. After this one, I AM DONE! Four is enough for me. Good LUck to us ALL, and may all our babies be healthy, happy, and enrich our lives forever.
