I went and had an elective ultrasound yesterday and found out we are having a boy 
We are very exctited! We had it done at our doctor's office and they gave us a disc of pictures and several short video clips. I think I've looked at the clip of him kicking about a hundred times!

My doctor asked if it was something we were interested in, it cost $70.

But I am confused, don't you get a recording of every ultrasound?

My old OBs office gives a recording of your u/s, but they don't tell you about it until you are there & you have to bring your own CD (you can't just buy one from them), and unless you just carry a CD around in your bag then you don't get one - example, us at our 1st covered routine u/s.
My RE doesn't give recordings at all, just pictures.
Born via emergency c-section - 8lb, 19.75 in, 100% stubborn BFP Chart
